In the anniversary year 2026, the Steiff Earth Bear commemorates 100 years of dedicated natural research – honouring scientists and explorers such as Dame Jane Goodall, Sir David Attenborough, E. O. Wilson, and many others. Not only have their achievements expanded our knowledge, but also reinforced our awareness of the need for peace, responsibility and for the protection of our Earth.

Meticulous attention to detail

Measuring 35 cm and crafted from the finest mohair, this fully jointed (5-way) teddy bear presents himself as a distinguished explorer. He wears a forest green corduroy waistcoat with patch pockets and refined buttons, beneath which is a classically patterned shirt in carefully balanced natural tones, complemented by matching trousers in authentic explorer style. Perched on his shoulder is a limited-edition Steiff monkey (measuring 11cm, 4.33 inches) – also crafted from the finest mohair and fully jointed – a loyal companion on his journey through the wonders of nature.

Naturally, this unique edition features the famous Steiff golden button - along with a white label with red writing that signifies the special limited-edition status. In addition to being available exclusively from GALERISTA, the world’s largest Steiff dealer, only 1000 bears can ever be produced worldwide. Each one is issued with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
